Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Wendell Thompson
Wendell Thompson grew up in the small village of Pellville in Hancock County, Kentucky, but has lived in Owensboro Kentucky since 1957. This year (2022) marks 52 years that he has been involved in photography, including 15 years operating a portrait studio and photography gallery. He also taught black and white darkroom photography at Brescia University in Owensboro. He is a Life Member of the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association, and served on its Board of Directors for several years. He won many print competition awards, including 2002 Kentucky Photographer of the Year.
